The TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor provides reliable long-range wireless connectivity for business and outdoor environments such as hotels, resorts, cafés, schools, warehouses, gardens, and public Wi-Fi areas. It combines 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi technology with 2×2 MIMO and MU-MIMO to deliver fast and efficient wireless performance for multiple connected users.
The access point provides dual-band speeds:
- 5GHz: Up to 867 Mbps for high-speed applications such as video streaming and online services
- 2.4GHz: Up to 300 Mbps for extended coverage and everyday connectivity
Built for outdoor use, the EAP225-Outdoor features a durable IP65 weatherproof enclosure that protects against dust and water exposure. It includes high-power transmission and high-gain antennas to provide extended wireless coverage in outdoor areas.
The device supports the TP-Link Omada SDN platform, allowing centralized cloud management, monitoring, and configuration through Omada controllers or the Omada mobile app. Features such as seamless roaming, captive portal authentication, guest networking, and Mesh networking make it suitable for professional deployments.
Installation is simplified with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, allowing power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable. The included mounting kit enables wall or pole installation for flexible indoor or outdoor deployment.
